LILY D is one of those boats.

Designed by renowned Pacific Northwest naval architect Ed Monk Sr. and built by Tripple & Everett Marine Ways in 1966, this handsome tri-cabin cruiser represents one of the finest traditions of West Coast wooden boatbuilding. Monk designs are celebrated for their seaworthiness, efficiency, graceful lines, and practical cruising layouts, making them sought after by knowledgeable boaters throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Lovingly maintained and continuously upgraded, LILY D has provided twenty years of dependable cruising and has never let her owners down.

Construction

Built to traditional West Coast standards, LILY D features:

  • Oak frames

  • Red cedar planking above the waterline

  • Yellow cedar planking below the waterline

  • Fibreglass-covered fir plywood decks

  • Mahogany and fir deckhouse with mahogany and yellow cedar framing

This proven construction has produced a vessel that is both durable and beautiful.

The engine was selected for reliability, simplicity and exceptional fuel economy. The lightly loaded turbocharger provides minimal boost while reducing intake noise.
