We would love to post your boat. Abernethy & Gaudin is pleased to list some of the most beautiful boats built by hand. We have selected good quality wooden boats to feature for sale. Our listings are mostly west coast from Alaska to California.
Want to list your wooden boat with us? It’s a free service. All you have to do is email us with your contact information and description of your boat, several photos and, most importantly, a price in Canadian dollars. After we decide if the listing is a good fit for us, we will post it and the buyer will inquire with you directly.
Once the boat sell you can let us know and we will modify the listing as sold.

Discovery is a NW classic. Built to yacht standards by the Vic Franck boatyard in Seattle with yellow cedar over steamed white oak frames. Her fiberglassed plywood deck has kept her well preserved and is relatively low maintenance for a traditionally built wooden boat. She sails beautifully with an easily handled sail plan and motors quietly and efficiently at 7.5kts with a 900 mile range. Berthing for up to six in comfort, four in two separate cabins. Discovery has spent the last 8 years being refurbished including full refastening (removal and replacement of 2900 bronze screws), recorking, stripping and refinishing the decks and replacing the cockpit (solid teak), salon and galley replacement. Extensive systems upgrading. Original main engine runs beautifully having recently had major service with a top end replacement. All of the work has been done - go enjoy it! Electronics, running rigging and hull painting too. She is in excellent condition and ready for your next adventure – Anywhere!
