Gullveig was built in Sweden by Eric Salender in 1943. Built as an 8 metre racing cruiser. Like many race boats of that era, Gullveig suffered from a long history of hard racing. 22 pairs of frames were broken from tension. The keel was severely cracked. The horn timber, stern post and stem were also replaced in this restoration. All keel bolts and floor timbers were also replaced. We have brought this racer back to her original glory. |
